Personal Response

While reading this book, I felt that I learned a lot about ways to highlight diversity to my students. Through this book, we are able to relate and connect to the young girl in the story and how she feels like she is enough. This book is a great activity for all educators to incorporate in their classrooms.

Teaching Ideas

While teaching in the classroom, I would do an activity that allows the students to connect with the book and also connect with the story. I would do group work that correlates with the book that will help my students to learn more about diversity and how we all should be accepting of others.
