Personal Response

I really enjoyed reading this book, it gave me some insight one Hawaiian culture and what is special to them. It is interesting to read about this and what is important and special to their culture.

Teaching Ideas

If I were to incorporate this in to my classroom, I would ask students to think about what is important to them and their families. I would also have them think about what they can do to support and love their family the best that they can.
